Terms of Use
Last updated: June 8, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your enrollment in and use of the offerings provided by Sunset Mesa Ventures LLC, doing business as GammaVibe ("GammaVibe," "we," "us," or "our") through our online school, GammaVibe Academy, hosted on the Teachable platform (the "School"). Our offerings include online courses (each, a "Course"), coaching, and may in future include other digital products.
By enrolling in or purchasing any offering, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not enroll or purchase.
Relationship to Teachable's terms
Our School is hosted on Teachable. Your use of the Teachable platform—including account registration, payment processing, taxes, and platform conduct—is also governed by Teachable's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. These Terms cover your relationship with GammaVibe regarding the Course content itself. Where these Terms address a matter that Teachable's terms also govern (such as payments, refunds, or platform access), Teachable's terms control for those platform and payment matters.
The Course
GammaVibe Academy courses are educational materials for software engineers and independent builders, delivered as video lessons and accompanying resources such as diagrams and starter files. We may update, improve, or modify Course content over time.
Access and license to Course content
When you purchase a Course, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the Course content for your own learning, for as long as the Course remains available on the platform.
Course content—including videos, diagrams, written materials, and other media we produce—remains our intellectual property. Course videos are intended for streaming on the platform and are not provided for download. You may not copy, download, record, redistribute, share, resell, sublicense, or publicly display the Course content, or provide access to anyone who has not purchased the Course.
Starter files and code
The Course includes starter files and references code that we have separately released as open source under the MIT License. That code—including the starter files and the accompanying pipeline implementation—is governed by the MIT License, which permits broad personal and commercial use, modification, and redistribution under its terms. Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under that license. To be clear, this open-source license applies to the code, not to the Course videos and other Course materials described above.
Third-party tools and costs
The Course teaches you to build an automated pipeline using third-party tools and services. To follow along, you will need your own accounts with services such as a coding agent (the Course uses Claude Code), an AI model API (the Course assumes Google's Gemini), and a news API (the Course assumes newsapi.ai). These are independent third-party services with their own terms, pricing, and policies.
Use of these services may incur costs—including API usage fees—that are your sole responsibility. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their pricing, or any charges you incur. We encourage you to review each provider's terms and pricing before use and to monitor your own usage.
Coding agents and similar tools operate directly on your computer—running commands, creating and modifying files, and installing software. Used incorrectly, or through errors or unexpected behavior in the tools themselves, this carries a risk of unintended changes to your system, including data loss. You are responsible for your own development environment and for taking sensible precautions, such as backing up your data and running the tools in an isolated or sandboxed environment. We are not responsible for any damage to your system, data, or files arising from your use of these tools.
If you purchase coaching, sessions are typically scheduled and delivered using Google Workspace tools such as Google Calendar and Google Meet, which are governed by Google's own terms and policies.
No guarantee of results
The Course is provided for educational purposes only. We share approaches, techniques, and our own experience, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome. Nothing in the Course is a promise of business, financial, employment, or other results, and nothing in it constitutes professional, financial, legal, or investment advice. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, skill, and circumstances.
Evolving tools and course updates
The Course teaches techniques that rely on third-party AI models and developer tools, which change frequently and outside our control. Models are updated or retired, tools change their behavior, and approaches that work today may need to be adapted over time. We cannot guarantee that any specific technique, tool, model, or result shown in the Course will continue to work as demonstrated.
We maintain a "Recommendations" section within the Course that we intend to update on a best-effort basis to reflect notable changes and current guidance. This is a good-faith effort, not a commitment to keep all Course content continuously current, and we may update, revise, or discontinue Course content at our discretion.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Course content is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Course content is error-free, complete, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GammaVibe (and its owner, members, and agents) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Course. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Course will not exceed the amount you paid us for that Course.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Coaching
We may offer coaching sessions, either on their own or bundled with a Course. Coaching may cover working through Course material, feedback on your own projects, ideas, or designs, career discussion, and related topics. Coaching is educational and advisory in nature. As with our Courses, we share our experience and perspective but do not guarantee any particular outcome, and nothing provided in coaching constitutes professional, financial, legal, or investment advice.
We treat information you share with us during coaching as confidential. We will not publish it or use your specific ideas, materials, or personal circumstances for any purpose other than providing coaching to you. This does not restrict our use of general knowledge, skills, or experience.
Refunds
Courses. Course purchases are subject to Teachable's standard platform refund policy (currently a full refund within 14 days of purchase). You may request a refund within the eligible window as described in Teachable's Terms of Use. Course refunds are processed by Teachable, which acts as the payment processor and handles tax collection and remittance for purchases made through the School..
Coaching and bundles. Coaching sessions, and bundles that include coaching, are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, subject to the following. If you have not yet completed any coaching session, you may request a full refund within that period. If you have completed one or more sessions but are still within the 14-day period, we will refund the portion of the price corresponding to the sessions you have not yet used. For a bundle that includes both a Course and coaching, if you have begun the coaching but wish to stop, we will refund the Course portion of the bundle price, charging only for the coaching provided. Refunds for coaching and bundles are assessed by us on this basis and processed through Teachable.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Course lawfully and only for its intended educational purpose. You may not share your account, circumvent access restrictions, or use the Course content to create a competing product. We may suspend or revoke access for conduct that violates these Terms, infringes our rights, or abuses the platform, consistent with Teachable's terms.
Community conduct
Your purchase may include access to a student-only area within the GammaVibe Community, our private space for builders to learn and collaborate. This community may be hosted on a third-party platform with its own terms, which you are also responsible for following. We reserve the right to remove you from the community or revoke your community access at any time, without a refund, if you engage in harassment, spam, or other conduct that disrupts the learning environment for others. Revoking your community access does not by itself affect your access to the Course materials hosted on Teachable.
Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued access to the Course after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where Teachable's terms specify otherwise for platform and payment matters.
